North American Safe Communities Network

Safe Communities America is a member of the North American Safe Communities Network. Currently, we are working closely with Safe Communities Canada and all their designated Safe Communities to share best practices in injury prevention.

Safe Communities America Network

The Safe Communities America network consists of communities that have demonstrated leadership in safety promotion and injury prevention. Each community has made an investment to ensure that their community is a safe place to live, work and visit.

The following U.S. communities have received the Safe Communities designation:

Anchorage, Alaska - 1998
Springfield, Missouri - 2007
